I graduated from Mississippi State University with a
M. S. E. E in spring 2002. My research work was on development
of processes for fabrication of Schottky diodes and developing
etch recipes for SiC plasma etch. See the accompanying sidebar
& thesis for details.
I am presently working as an engineer for P. J. M. Interconnection,
an independent system operator for the energy market in the
north east United States.

The integrated circuit developed in 1959 consists of several transistors and
/ or other solid state components fabricated on one substrate
and connected to accomplish a given purpose. For the first
time multiple solid state devices could be fabricated on a
single substrate (or wafer) thus reducing power dissipation
and cost. The most widely used substrate in the semiconductor
industry are Si and SiC.
